🛈Why do I need to complete the Portfolio of Evidence?
The Portfolio of Evidence serves as the Proof of Landowners’ Membership and as the Document that Protects Members. The Portfolio of Evidence is the Foundation on which any Landowner can stand on, when a Case goes to court.
The Portfolio of Evidence which the Landowner needs to keep Up-to-Date, Consists of:
- Membership Invoice Number
- Proof of Payment
- Farm Risk Maps which is completed for all Properties which is included under the FPA Membership
- Log Sheet of Fire Fighting Equipment Service Records
- List of Resources, Fire Fighting Equipment, PPC and Personnel
- Proof of Training of Personnel Received to Fight Fire
- Letter of Good Standing in terms of Workmanship Compensation
- Sec 12 – Landowner & Neigbour Firebreak Agreement on boundary
- Photographic Proof of Firebreaks, and Fire Fighting Equipment
- Proof of Insurance and Coverage for Common Law Liability

- Scan the Doucment with a Scanner App or with a conventional Scanner. Save the Document as PDF
- Upload the Document at Document Submission which is under Member Area
Now Sign-Off is required by FPA Executive Official
Send an E-Mail to manager@nefsfpa.co.za for a Visit from the Fire Protection Officer to Sign-Off Membership.
🛈When Sign-Off Completed: Now you will receive a FPA Membership Certificate from the FPA: Portfolio of Evidence Completed
