Description:
NEFSFPA is seeking a temporary Admin & Dispatcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and professional administrative, secretarial, and logistical services to the Association and its members.
Responsibilities:
- Office Administration:
- Responding to 2-Way Radio and Telephone/ Cellphone
- Managing general correspondence and registers
- Maintaining FPA Membership Register and Accounts
- Keeping track of Emergency Contact Numbers
- Sending invoices and managing financial statements
- Logistics/Dispatching:
- Monitoring WhatsApp and reporting unusual activity
- Maintaining records and logs of incidents on the Fireweb System
- Monitoring vehicle movements
- Dispatching Working on Fire Teams
- Meetings:
- Arranging meetings, circulating notices and agendas, and taking minutes
- Keeping track of minutes for recordkeeping
- Supervision of office equipment and records
Requirements:
- Familiarity with office administration and logistics
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Proficiency in record-keeping and financial statements
- Willingness to work outside office hours as needed
Salary:
- Fixed salary, as determined by the company
Period:
- Month-to-month basis with a 30-day mutual termination notice

Job Title: Temporary Base Manager & Operations Coordinator

Description:
NEFSFPA is looking for a temporary Base Manager & Operations Coordinator to manage the Working on Fire (WOF) team and coordinate operational tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the team, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining administrative records.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintaining administrative files and registers
- Managing general correspondence
- Keeping track of inventory and inspecting equipment and vehicles
- Maintaining Emergency Contact Numbers
- Dealing with inquiries and returns
- Managing financial statements
- Conducting radio communications tests
- Maintaining vehicle logbooks
- Operational Tasks:
- Coordinating and supervising all operational tasks of the WOF team
- Accompanying the team during deployment and assigning tasks
- Burning firebreaks with the team and ensuring productivity
- Meetings:
- Attending meetings with the Fire Protection Officer and/or Working on Fire, which may be outside office hours
- Supervision:
- Supervising the WOF team and their activities
- Supervising the total inventory of equipment and records
Requirements:
- Experience in managing teams and coordinating operations
- Knowledge of firefighting and fire prevention
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments
- Familiarity with administrative tasks and record-keeping
- Willingness to work outside office hours as needed
Salary:
- Fixed salary, as determined by the company
Period:

Special Conditions:
- The role involves exposure to hazards and working conditions applicable to firefighters.
